Hi Aids, Sorry I was trying to see her last name and by mistake I left the name there in the To section.

But she is fine and very friendly. So feel free to come and talk to her. Trust me she is very fine and good to talk to.

Some relos came over from the US, so today my mum and I did the usual tourist thing and took them to the Blue Mountains. I drove whilst the three of them talked incessantly about anything and everything that was different between the US and Australia - cars, number plates, fruit, roofing, house prices, liquor consumption. It was a very long drive.
When we hopped out of the car at Echo Point I regretted not bringing something warmer, the gale-force winds bowling over tourists and shaking koalas from trees. We took a few photos at the viewing platform, and then walked down to the Three Sisters. 'They seem to have shrunk,' Mum said. 'Don't be ridiculous Mum,' I replied. 'Why are they called Sisters? They don't look like sisters at all,' said Relative.
After some more photos and a bit of perusing at the tourist shop, we headed back to Katoomba for some lunch, our stomachs growling. We ended up at a small cafe on the main strip, where I stuffed myself silly with toast, fried eggs and small sausages.
Driving home, the three of them dozed off, and I had to drift carefully around corners to prevent any sudden movements from waking them. Only the soft guitar strumming coming from my iPod stopped me from joining them in lala land.

Last night I dreamt of a past girlfriend, and she laughed in my face.
Lost we are, and willing.

I've got my senses back after a week of numbness. I've been swimming through jelly, but I think I've finally pushed through. What a strange and busy week it's been. Blind dates, deadlines, old friends and commitments. All blended together like a milkshake and poured over my head. Slow down, slow down they'd say, but I don't want to come last again.

Could ambition be the cause of unhappiness? It would be so easy to walk on this path laid out for me, smooth and straight and inviting. Yet, often I want to reach higher. And would I be satisfied?

I've spent the whole weekend vegetating, sitting here for hours turning into mashed potato.
